The Mysterious JQ

Someone with the initials JQ has been going through my archives, leaving pleasant comments here and there. But the initials don’t link to a blogger profile.

Who are you, JQ? Do you have a blog somewhere? I appreciate you visiting and taking the time to leave messages. I haven’t left comments in response because I don’t have a decent computer at home for the moment, so I have to squeeze everything in during down times at work.

And in answer to one of your questions, I’ve heard of Ann Sebold, because of The Lovely Bones, but I haven’t read her. I suppose I should…

Hello, Bad Alice. I'm Jennifer Quinn Lawrence. It's nice to meet you.

  2. Hi Jennifer, nice to meet you. I didn't mean to startle you or pry. I was just rather curious - no one ever comments on my archived items. And I wasn't sure that you would be able to track any responses I might make on those older posts. How did you come across my blog? I guess you don't have one, at least not under blogger. If you are hiding a blog away somewhere, let me know, and I will visit.

  3. Bad Alice,

Thanks for both of your responses and for your concern. I didn't consider it prying, so don't worry about it.

I came across your blog via Google. In the past I've read a lot of blogs, and today I decided to create a Blogger account just for the heck of it. And then when I saw the post, I thought it was only natural and polite I respond.

I won't go into the dreary details, but very recently I rediscovered G-d, and while it changed my heart, it didn't really change my life. However, I took the first steps and started talking with Him and reading my Bible again. I even found the strength to swallow my pride and move back in with my parents, who have been nothing but wonderful to me these past few months. They’re my church.

I'm sorry for the way I sounded in my response to your post from June 2007. But you were right: I need to stop listening to the world. Again, I won't go into it further except to say I appreciate your insights and will be thinking and praying hard about what you said.

Blessings to you and your family,
    Jennifer

P.S. I'm thinking about starting my own blog, but as of right now I don't have one.
