Exit

She enters in a new disguise.
The air falters
taken by surprise.
I rearrange myself.
The dress I have never seen before
it materialized in a different world.
She creates the illusion
that she has stepped out of hiding
though the black cloth falls like shadows
and black lines bind her eyes.
She moves in his admiration
as though she has rediscovered herself.
The corridor between us drops
like a bowl slipping from clenched fingers.
