Now, HERE, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!

The Tooth Fairy Paid a Visit
Yesterday DramaQueen lost her first tooth! She was so excited. I convinced her to put the tooth in a box for the tooth fairy—the tooth is so very tiny, I was afraid I would never find it under a pillow.
Yay Drama Queen. First tooth lost is so important. For you to protect it is so great. Don't want to loose the precious little gem. Tooth fairy needs to collect on that one.
The tooth box...a very good idea. The Child had one that her godmother gave her and when it broke, in a non-tooth related incident, she made one for herself.
Establish Tooth Fairy ground rules early, would be my only advice. The Child also wanted to collect on her braces when they were removed and on a chip of tooth that she claimed resembled the Eiffel Tower and "would make a nice piece of art for the Tooth Fairy's house".
You're good! We had Katie put hers under her pillow recently. Then we promply forgot about it and went to bed. EERRK!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to DramaQueen!

If it's gone the next day then that means the tooth fairy did get it.
ReplyDeleteYou can even buy special tooth cases.
ReplyDeleteWe spend the first ten years trying to lose all our teeth and the next 70 years trying to keep what we have where it is. Life is so funny, isn't it???
ReplyDeletePeanut, who turns 6 on the 22nd still hasn't lost a tooth. She is quite jelous of all her friends that have.
